Create a VCN project for one VAKA system
VCN projects holds system-specific information. A VCN project holds data for one VAKA system. If more than one VAKA system is managed with VCN, one VCN project is to be created for each VAKA system.
Please note: When working with VCN, password management is of utmost importance. This document is available as support, https://info.axema.se/info/simonsvoss/Installationsuppgifter_en-gb.pdf
Creating a project and linking it to a VAKA system takes place in three steps, described in detail below.

- Start the VCN.
- Uncheck Open this project as default .
- Name the project. Tip: Use VAKA's system name.
- Enter the password for the project.
- Enter Password Hint , a hint to remember the password for the VCN project.
- For Locking System Password , select the password for the locks, Virtual Card Network.
Important: Lost passwords cannot be recovered or be found anywhere. For documentation of passwords for Virtual Card Network, https://info.axema.se/info/simonsvoss/Installationsuppgifter_en-gb.pdf is recommended. - Click Create .

- In VAKA Admin, navigate to Offline doors .
- In the three-dot menu at the top right, select export system config .
- Save the file in a suitable location, alternative the file will be saved according to the browser settings.

This ties the current VAKA system to the specific VCN project. This has nothing to do with door configuration.
- In VCN, navigate to File -> Import -> VCN Card Configuration .
- Select the file that was exported from VAKA (CardConfig).
- Click Close .
