Grouping of events into channels

Events are grouped into Channels, where a channel contains events intended for (a) specific recipient(s). For example, it may be the case that reservation events are to be sent to one recipient and system alarms to another recipient.

In VAKA systems with type B18 and B28 door controllers (only), 15 channels are available. In systems that include (an) older generation(s) (Bx5, Bx6 and Bx7), three channels are available.

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Events -> System Filters.
  2. Select the required channel for each event type. Note that Event Groups are expandable.
  3. Click Save to close

    1. Navigate to Settings -> Events -> System filters
    2. Grouping events for System Administrator to channel 2 and events for Installer to channel 3.
      1. Expand the Door section.
      2. For Door held open, select Channel 2 (Visible).
      3. For Door forced open, select Channel 2 (Visible).
      4. Minimise the Door section.
      5. Expandera the System
        6. section.
      6. For Connection lost to door/domain, select Channel 3 (Visible).
      7. For Door terminal restarted, select Channel 3 (Visible). Repeat for other system-related events for the Installer role.
    3. Click Save to close
