Alternative door settings

Door settings include, for example, locks, exit buttons and door and lock contacts. They are configured for each door.

Electric locks

Electric locks can be connected to the door controller or the Reader VAKA A66.

If an electric lock is connected to the Reader VAKA A66, navigate to Doors -> Terminals and click the terminal linked to the exit button. Then select Lock next to AUX-relay – Relay function.

Electric lock (Unlock Time) is configured in the General tab.

Exit button

Exit button can be connected to the door controller or Reader VAKA A66.

If a door opener is connected to the Reader VAKA A66, navigate to Doors -> Terminals and click the terminal linked to the exit button. Then select remote opening for Entrance 1 or Entrance 2 depending on which entrance is connected to the exit button.+

Configure the exit button under the Devices -> Remote Open tab.

Door and lock contacts

Door and lock contacts can be connected to door controllers or reader in VAKA A66.

If a door and/or lock contact is connected to a door controller, mark the fact that it is connected to the door controller in the Devices -> Door Contact or Lock Contact tab, respectively, and configure as needed.

If door and/or lock contact is connected to Reader VAKA A66, navigate to Doors -> Terminals and click the terminal to which they are linked. Then select door or lock contact for Entrance 1 or Entrance 2 depending on which entrance they are linked to.
